Database: IFIUDB

The IFIUDB File (IFI Uniterm Database) contains all front page and bibliographic data and the text of the abstract and/or all claims from U.S. utility patents, reissue patents, defensive publications, reinstated patents, expired patents, and patents with adverse decision in interference, disclaimer/dedication, reexamination request, reissue request, or certificate of correction.

All chemical and chemically related patents are covered from 1950 to the present, and mechanical and electrical patents from 1963 to the present. Design patents are covered from 1980 to the present. In addition, US applications published since March 15, 2001, are also included.
