I've heard a lot about genetically modified foods. How can I find information about food products that use genetically modified yeast?
To get started, simply enter your login ID and password. Then click "Start Your Session." (1) If you do not have an STN login ID, click "Open New Account".

To locate information about food products, click "Advanced Search". (2) Then click the "Select Your Category" button. (3) Select the "Food" category. (4)

Type in the keywords gene* modif* and yeast. (5) Note that a truncation symbol, "*", can be used to retrieve word variations, e.g., "gene" or "genetic."
Click "Search" (6) to retrieve research articles on the requested topic.
Note the search cost.

689 research articles from three databases are retrieved. In this example, the FSTA database is selected. (7)
To view details of the research article, click directly on the title of interest. (8)
Note the display cost is in brackets [ ].

The detailed record for the document is displayed. To access the full text of the document, click the "Full-Text Options" button. (9)

Several options for obtaining full text are available. Subscribers of the journal can simply click HTML or PDF to read the full text.
