How can I locate patents on the use of monoclonal antibodies for cancer detection or treatment?
To get started, simply enter your login ID and password. Then click "Start Your Session." (1) If you do not have an STN login ID, click "Open New Account".

After Patent Lookup (2) is selected, type in topics of interest , e.g., "monoclonal antibodies" and "cancer" (3). Click the Search button. (4)
Note the search cost.
The Patent Lookup search form can also be used to locate other types of patent information, e.g., "inventor" or "patent assignee."

STN Easy locates over 2100 relevant patents. To view the database records simply double click on a specific patent title. (5)
Note the display cost is in brackets [ ].

The database record for the selected patent is displayed. In many instances the full text of the patent can also be retrieved by clicking the "Full-Text Options" button. (6)

CAS Full Text Options offers several options to acquire the full text of the patent. In this example, the USPTO button is selected to retrieve the full text.

The full text of the patent is displayed--right at your desktop!
