Is 4-acetoxyphenyl acetate on EINECS (European List of Notified Chemical
Substances)?
To get started, simply enter your login ID and password. Then click "Start Your Session." (1)

To locate regulatory information, click "Advanced Search". (2) Then click the "Select Your Category" button (3) and select the category "Regulated Chemical Lists." (4)
Select "Chemical Name" (5) from the first drop-down box and type in the name of the chemical. (6) Then click "Search." (7)
Note that you can also click the "Browse Index" button (8) to confirm that the chemical name you entered is listed before you pay for the search!
Note the search cost.
STN Easy locates the chemical "4-acetoxyphenyl acetate" in the CHEMLIST database. To view the detailed record, click the "Display" button. (9)
Note the display cost is in brackets [ ].
The substance is listed on the EINECS inventory.
Note that STN Easy found the appropriate information even though other names were used for the substance on the EINECS list! STN Easy uses the CAS Registry Number to verify that the correct substance has been located.
At any time during your STN Easy search, you can determine the cost of your search activity to date by clicking the "Session Cost" link on the navigation frame. (10)
