| Recent enhancements to STN Easy for Intranets provide additional search options, the ability to monitor user activity, and the ability to further customize the look and capabilities of the STN Easy web pages on your intranet. |

| STN Easy for Intranets has been enhanced with the following:

The STN Easy for Intranets Setup Assistant provides the Site Administrator with the ability to modify what was customized for the Intranets page or Workgroups page during the Initial Setup, or at any other time, directly. |

The STN Easy interface has been modified so that the different search modes, e.g., Easy Search, Advanced Search, CAS Number Search, Patent Lookup, are accessible from a list on the STN Easy left-hand navigation frame. |

Site Administrators are able to:
Saved Search Terms for Recall allows the searcher to save a partial search, e.g., search terms, search fields, Boolean operators. Defined Searches allow the searcher to save an entire search strategy including search terms, search fields, Boolean operators, the category and databases in which the search will run, and preferences for plurals and abbreviations. Posted Results allows the Site Administrator to conduct a search in any of the over 200 databases on STN, then deliver the results to users via STN Easy for Intranets. Posted Results are available for 90 days. There is no charge to save a partial or entire search strategy; however, when used, standard STN Easy search fees are applicable. Posted Results are subject to the guidelines outlined in the STN Information Keep and Share Program. |

| Access to CA SELECTS on the Web site subscriptions An additional current-awareness feature is now available from STN Easy for Intranets. For site subscribers to CA SELECTS on the Web, access to the topics tracked by the organization can be one-click away, available to users from the STN Easy for Intranets site. |

| Addition of subscriber databases Subscriber only databases are available via STN Easy for Intranets. The databases are:
These databases can be included in a custom category by subscribers to the files. |

| Ability to validate charge back code entries A new charge back code option is available and provides more cost control to the Site Administrator. The option, Require users to enter a charge back code and validate against a list, mandates that the Site Administrator provide a list of acceptable charge back codes within the SetUp Assistant. This option requires the
user to manually enter a charge back code when using STN Easy for Intranets.

to the user; however, the system validates what the user enters against
the list that was supplied by the Site Administrator. |

| Ability to add welcome text for users From within the STN Easy for Intranets Setup Assistant, the Site Administrator now has the ability to provide customized text that will be displayed to the user immediately upon clicking on the STN Easy for Intranets link on the corporate intranet. |

Ability to add corporate links to logoff page Provide access and higher visibility to important corporate links. The Site Administrator may indicate which corporate links, if any, should be included on the web page that appears when the user logs off of STN Easy for Intranets. |
