STNEasy charges per search and per answer displayed. There are no sign-up or subscription charges. Prices are shown on the screen before you incur the charge. For example, display prices are given in brackets beside the document titles on the Answer page. The price list provides exact costs for tasks performed in STNEasy. At any time, you can click Session Cost on the Navigation Frame to see the total charges for the current session.

Costs for displaying the details of answers vary depending on the database selected |
You are charged each time you display the details for an answer, even if you have displayed details for the same answer previously in the same session. To avoid being charged twice for the same results, ensure that you display the details for an answer only once (see also Show Duplicates). Your Search History captures all of the details that you display during a session. Or, you can use your browser’s Back button to see previously displayed answers.
Monthly bills are issued for STN accounts. See Account Sign-Up and Information for more details. If you choose, charges may be summarized by Charge Back Codes.
Saving Search Terms for Recall or as a Defined Search is free.
