To log on to STNEasy:

1. Enter your login ID and password in the appropriate fields on the STNEasy home page (make sure that they are not reversed)
2. Click Start Your Session

If your account is set up with IP Address Authorization, simply click Start Your Session. No login ID or password is needed.

The Search page displays, and you can begin searching the STN databases.

You will not be disconnected from STNEasy if you go to another web site. Simply return to STNEasy via your browser’s Back button to maintain your current session. However, after 20 minutes of inactivity at our web server, your session will be disconnected and a Search History kept for you. To start a new session or to view your search history, go to the STNEasy home page and log on to STNEasy again.

Logoff

When you have finished using STNEasy, log off to disconnect from the system and to see your final session cost. To do this, click Log Off on the Navigation Frame.

If you do not log off, STNEasy will disconnect your session after 20 minutes of inactivity. When this happens, your current search results are lost. However, the Search History containing a record of your searches will be available. To start a new session or to retrieve a search history, you must log on again.

Note: If your STN login id and password are active with STNEasy, you are not able to use them with STN Express or STN on the Web. Your STN login and password can only be used with one product at a time.
