The Easy Search option* provides quick access to answers in the General Sciences category of databases.

To use Easy Search, make sure the Easy Search option is selected on the Navigation Frame. Then follow these steps:

1. Enter your search terms: Enter search terms in the box provided. See the Searching Guidelines for details.
2. Search: Click the Search button. Answers are retrieved from General Sciences and displayed on the Answer page.

Links to commonly asked questions are shown at the bottom of the page. Click on a question to view its answer.

Easy Search is designed to work similarly to other common web search engines. If you are an experienced STNEasy user, you may prefer to use the Advanced Search option or the Patent Lookup option for patent searching. If you have trouble conducting your search, please contact your STN Help Desk.
