The CAS Number search option* allows
you to quickly retrieve substance information for a compound of interest. Use
this search option to:
- Find or verify the CAS (Registry)
Number for a substance
- Retrieve a substance record of
interest
To use CAS Number search, click the
CAS Number Search option on the Navigation Frame. Then follow
these steps:
- Enter a CAS Number or chemical
name: Enter a CAS (Registry) Number or chemical name in the box provided.
Click the Browse Index button to see if your term is included in the
database index.
- Search: Click Search.
The answer(s) from the Registry database are displayed on the Answer
page.
