Lists of Answers are provided in Most Recent Order by default, i.e., reverse chronological order.

To view the list of documents in the order of relevancy to your search question, click Best Match Order. STNEasy determines relevancy with a powerful proprietary algorithm that uses the words that were searched, their frequency in the record, and the fields of occurrence. Best Match Order can be displayed for answers sets containing up to 10,000 answers.

Best Match Order is not available for lists of identifiers, e.g., chemical names, molecular formulas.

Best Match Order cannot be used in conjunction with Show Duplicates. Clicking on one after the other overrides the previous answer display.
